Usdan Summer Camp for the Arts to offer up to 10 full-tuition, seven-week scholarships

Usdan Summer Camp for the Arts in Wheatley Heights will offer up to 10 students full scholarships to attend the 2019 summer camp season.
The Uniquely U scholarship requires contenders in grades 2 through 12 to submit a video explaining what makes them uniquely them, along with a sample of their work in creative writing or visual and performing arts.
The seven-week scholarships include the $5,850 tuition and transportation. In addition, some of the other applicants will receive honorable-mention awards with a range of partial scholarships. Camp runs July 1 through Aug. 16 (closed July 4).
The submission deadline is Feb. 15. Applications and search parameters are outlined on UU.Usdan.org. Usdan is at 185 Colonial Springs Rd. in Wheatley Heights.
