Visiting my grandparents in Poland
It’s almost time to pack my bags! Every year I go to see my grandparents. They live in Poland. Poland is an eastern European country on the Baltic Sea. Warsaw is the capital and largest city in Poland. The flag of Poland consists of two horizontal stripes of equal width. The upper one is white and the lower one is red. White represents peace and honesty while red represents hardiness and bravery. The Polish symbol is the white eagle.
My grandparents live in a town called Ryn. There are two lakes, Lake Ryn and Lake Otow, but my favorite place to visit in this beautiful town is the castle of the Teutonic Knights. I have been there so many times as I visit my grandparents. After so many years of renovation, the castle is a five-star hotel. Also, there are a lot of fun things to do such as bowling, swimming in an indoor pool or lakes, and shooting with a bow. I can’t wait to go there again.
