Weekend family fun on Long Island: Magic show, circus fun, baseball and more

Looking for things to do with the kids this weekend? From Long Island Ducks games to a magic show, circus performance and more, there's much to do on Long Island. Here are my top five picks for fun family-friendly activities this weekend:
1. Long Island Ducks vs. Sugar Land Skeeters at Bethpage Ballpark (3 Court House Dr., Central Islip). Cheer on the home team and enjoy a baseball game on Friday and Saturday at 7:05 p.m. and Sunday at 1:35 p.m. Price: $11-$15.
2. Retro Rocket Races at Maritime Explorium (101 East Broadway, Port Jefferson). Learn to build an air-powered rocket and then race it with a friend on Saturday and Sunday from 1-5 p.m. Price: $5.
3. Magic of Robert Austin at Take-One Performing Arts Academy (1021 Portion Rd., Farmingville). On Sunday from 2 p.m., kids and adults alike will enjoy the magic of Robert Austin. Be prepared, audience participation is encouraged. Price: $12 ($10 in advance).
4. Acrobats of Cirque-tacular at Staller Center for the Arts (Stony Brook University, Nicolls Road, Stony Brook). Families will enjoy a circus performance with aerialists, acrobats, contortionists, jugglers, illusionists, world record holders and more on Sunday at 4 p.m.
Price: $15.
5. Family Adventures: Turtles, Snakes and Frogs, Oh My at Connetquot River State Park Preserve (Sunrise Highway, Oakdale). Explore the preserve while you learn about turtles, snakes, frogs and more on Sunday from 1:30-3 p.m. Price: $4 adults, $3 children, free ages 3 and younger; reservations are required.
