Rent strollers with tablets at Westfield malls on Long Island

Two Long Island malls have made shopping with kids a lot easier: Strollers with attached educational tablets.
Westfield South Shore and Westfield Sunrise malls recently debuted Smarte Wheels Tablet Strollers, which feature fun, educational games and videos for children to play while parents shop.
The strollers have themes, such as race cars and firetrucks, and have options to fit one or two kids. The games are preloaded onto the tablets and do not need to be purchased. According to Vanessa Mitton, marketing director for the Westfield South Shore and Sunrise malls, the strollers are sanitized throughout the day.
Parents or caregivers can rent the stroller for $8; $1 will be refunded when the stroller is returned. Westfield South Shore is located at 1701 Sunrise Hwy. in Bay Shore. Westfield Sunrise is at 1 Sunrise Mall in Massapequa.
