After a full evening of trick-or-treating, your house may be taken over by Halloween candy. Not sure what to do with the leftovers? I found this easy recipe on mom.me using brownie mix and KitKat bars. Take a look:
KitKat Brownies
(Serves 6)
Ingredients
- 1 box store-bought brownie mix
- Water, vegetable oil and egg indicated on brownie box
- 4 fun-size KitKat bars, broken up to make 8 wafer bars
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 °F (325° F for dark nonstick pan).
2. Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with foil so foil extends about 2 inches over sides of dish. Spray foil with cooking spray.
3. Prepare brownies according to box instructions.
4. Pour half of the brownie mix in prepared baking dish. Arrange KitKat bars evenly on batter then pour remaining batter over the KitKat bars.
5. Bake for the amount of time directed on box. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
6. Cut brownies to desired size and enjoy.
