Hiking is one of the first things I want to do there. Some of the trails will lead you right to Long Island Sound. You will love walking along the edges of the cliffs. It is beautiful.
I think the beach is one of the nicest around, even though the water’s edge is a little rocky. Wait until you are there at sunset, too. Beautiful.
The campsites even have a playground nearby, so you are never bored. You can’t camp there without a permit. If you like fishing, you can do that! In the winter you can go cross-country skiing.
