Would you give up or keep trying?

I interviewed 47 kids from grades 5-8 and asked them the question: If you were bad at something, would you give up or try harder? Here are my results:

Give up 6

Most kids felt that they had nothing to lose if they tried harder, but if they gave up, they would never know if they could succeed.
