Farmers, friends, fine wine and brew

The Farm at St. Peter's, an organic CSA in Bay Shore, will be holding a fund raiser at a private home in Bay Shore on July 16 from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. And to add to the fun, Martha Clara and Palmer Vineyards will be offering wine tastings along with a new Bay Shore brewery, Great South Bay Brewery.

Tickets are $25 a person, and include farm fresh hor d'oeuvres, wine and brew. There also will be Chinese and silent auctions.

The Farm at St. Peter's is in its 9th year, "working to continue the farm, promote the locavore movement and emphasizes the need for Long Islanders to become more closely connected to the food we eat."
