1. Alexa Chung has teamed with Nails Inc. for a line of polishes inspired by fabrics. The first to launch is Alexa Lace Effect Polish, which uses red matte particles in different sizes for a lacy texture; more shades will be introduced next month, $11; at nailsinc.com.
2. MAC has six new top coats: With Texturize, you get a leather-like effect; Shadow darkens nails with a sheer black glow. Highlight is a pearlized blue; and use pink, green or gold liquid pigment to change polish shade, $12; at makeup counters and maccosmetic.com.
3. And now there's a BB Crème for nails. Orly calls it an all-in-one cosmetic treatment, working to smooth and brighten the surface of the nail while protecting from the sun. It has a chip-resistant finish, thanks to glass microspheres and a sheer peach tint, $15; at orlybeauty.com.
