Adam Lippes nails his 'parachute' collection

Inspired by an image of a parachute jumper floating downward, designer Adam Lippes worked his own fashion freefall to perfection.
A caramel leather sheath featured a cascading back, wearable and so chic when paired with a chunky cable scarf. Skirts and dresses were distinctly shaped and weightless simultaneously – a poufy skirt had ridges, a crimson silk long dress took flight as the model walked. For interest, rich antique gold and silver embroidery was fab on sweaters and dresses.
Outerwear, too, was swell – coyote linings in ponchos and anoraks, shearling bomber jackets. Stuff you’re going to want next fall.
(Though trust us, it’s not free.)
