European men have been wearing colored pants for ages, but our good old American guys are yet to fully embrace the trend. Spring 2012 is the time to give in, according to GAP's collection.
The affordable retailer put on a grand show downtown at Lux Studios, with catalog-ready models posing together in bright, polished clothing as Champagne flowed. The women sported color-blocked dresses and flattering workwear, two trends seen on many high-end designers' runways this week.
But the men, decked out in windbreakers and pants of every color, begged the question: Will the male majority take a hint from the fashion world and step out of their comfort zones, or will GAP's spring line be too much for them?
We'll just have to wait and see.
