The focus is on lips, lips, lips in author Alice Harris’ new book, “Blow Me a Kiss,” ($35; powerHouse Books), a visual photo feast that explores the fascination with lips from the lacquered mouth of a supermodel to the pout of a young Mick Jagger.

The 120-page hardcover tome features more than 80 photographs and includes the works of Francesco Scavullo, Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein and a series of lip-centric portraits -- a diverse lot -- from Michael Jackson to Audrey Hepburn. And yes, for romantics, there’s even a stunning photograph of Bogie and Bacall’s “prelude” to a kiss.

Harris is no stranger to single subject books – she authored “The White T” (HarperCollins, 1996) and The Blue Jean (Powerhouse, 2002)).

“Blow Me a Kiss” is available now at Barnes & Noble, Amazon and bookstores everywhere.
