If bling is your thing, you've likely heard of BaubleBar, a sparkly, go-to source for fast fashion jewelry that began in 2011 at BaubleBar.com and today is sold at Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's and Anthropolgie. Well, now the jewelry hub has a place to call home, its very own first store in Roosevelt Field.

Apparently, Long Islanders are already BaubleBar fans. Daniella Yacobovsky, who co-owns the company with Amy Jain, said the company researched top performing markets and reviewed customer feedback in looking for a location. "We also wanted to be at a location we know our girl loves," she said, which made Roosevelt Field (one of the largest malls in the country) "a fantastic spot for our first foray into longer-standing physical retail."

So what's the BaubleBar experience all about? There are hundreds of jewelry items to choose from -- these constantly updated in keeping with the trends -- ranging from $8 for, say, a pavé crystal "xoxo" charm to $68 for a bold, turquoise statement necklace. We've got a girl crush on mega-embellished FRENDS x BaubleBar headphones ($175) with interchangeable caps -- plain and shiny for day, sparkly and bejeweled for night. Earrings, delicate necklaces and rings run from about $30-$40.

The 1,200-square-foot space will also feature a hands-on "Builder Bar" where shoppers can customize jewelry masterpieces, and there's even a selfie station where customers can check out their jewelry look and get social media feedback from friends.

The official store-opening party is slated for July 8, 5-8 p.m. A 20 percent storewide discount is offered during the event, and the first 100 purchasers will receive a free gift. For more information, call 516-747-7765.
