BCBG’s Thursday morning runway boasted a new, elongated silhouette — goodbye knees —  that, while at times was monastically austere, more often read feminine and sort of sexy. This because of fluid fabrics — silk chiffon and crepe — and slim-line layering that started with white turtleneck bodysuits (some with contrasting cuffs) under everything (and we mean, everything) from paneled dresses in mostly subdued shades —  tan, gray, navy and black — to a brazen red chiffon strapless gown. Toppers included several cozy coats with faux fur. Modern spy wear — subtle yet seductive.
