Oh, the choices in store for  BCBGMAXAZRIA gals next fall as Max and Lubov Azria drew inspiration from their travels to Istanbul and combined this with an eclectic gypsy flair  — so lovely, appealing and .?.?. wearable.

Pile it on as shown on the runway — tunics and shifts over loose pants topped by sweaters and perhaps a patterned long fur vest — or, wilder still, a black tulle gown over black leather pants (so easy to make the getaway from the ball on a motorcycle).  Off with last season’s leather harnesses, on with looser silos, and this time around, leather suits of sorts — a port leather trapeze top over a matching A-line skirt.  Yum.

Big prints that resembled the patterns of Turkish tiles were strong but not overwhelming and the lush color story — blues and burgundy — was balanced by soft neutrals and a touch of modern black and white.

Shapes were easy-wearing and anything but body-clinging, but a deep slit here and there revealed a flash of leg and some very sexy thigh high boots.
