Beauty Spot: Pro tools for looking better
John Frieda, the big name in anti-frizz products, has come out with a line of styling tools for Conair to help the process (thanks to something called Advanced Ionic Conditioning). There's a hair dryer, a straightening iron and three curling irons; $29.99 to $49.99 at Ulta, CVS and Best Buy stores.
Summer scent
Perfumes often are complex formulas with top notes, bottom notes, you know. But the latest from Cartier is striking in its simplicity. It's got just one note -- the lily, said to be man's favorite flower. Called Baiser Volé (stolen kisses), the fragrance launches this month in three sizes, $75, $100 and $145, at Nordstrom.
Shower on the go
In these sticky, sticky days, this product might save us all. Paper Shower is a pocket-size towelette with a wet side (containing unscented soap and moisturizers) and a dry side to, well, dry yourself off. They come in packages from six to 54, $7.50 to $49.50, at papershower.com.
