Bebe makes the varsity squad

Bebe may not be high fashion, but the eclectic brand is good for a surprise or two. Whether it's the "Lady Liberty" dress, worn over a cropped turtleneck, or the punk rock tee paired with a yellow tulle skirt. Or perhaps the cutest of all, a series of satin varsity jackets, some cropped, some hooded, worn with knife-pleat skirts, or a boatneck dress.
Here you'll find raucous club wear ("West Side Story"-worthy ruffle dresses in neon shades--cobalt, magenta, fuchsia, yellow) and kitschy accessories (dig that heart-shaped quilted bag).
But a word to the wise: No amount of tolerance for a little ktisch can sanction the bralette / tulle skirt / fishnet midriff ensemble, done up in a variety of shades. A perfect wardrobe option for one of those Bada Bing girls on 'The Sopranos." But otherwise, think Nancy Reagan (we're begging you)...and just say no.
