Betsey Johnson launching new watch collection

With scarecrow hair, bright red lips and a perpetual smile, designer Betsey Johnson is a lot like her fashion line -- funky with a big personality.

While most designers gave a quick wave and ducked backstage after their New York Fashion Week shows, Johnson cartwheeled down the runway.

The edgy designer loves interacting with the public, and on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. she'll be doing just that at Macy's Herald Square in Manhattan where she'll take photos with her loyal fan as she celebrates her new watch collection.

Her new watches feature leather straps, girly patterns, Betsey Johnson logos and pink accents.

Those who attend and make a qualifying watch purchase will get front-of-the-line VIP status and a gift from Johnson.
