Someone’s been playing with the hole puncher.  Yes, that would be Cynthia Rowley, whose fresh, feminine and, yes, elegant spring collection was, um, a “hole” lotta fun.

Ladylike dresses, mostly falling to the knee, were enhanced by hole patterns – the effect, quite striking.  Rowley also embellished many a look with candy dot-like buttons that she called “cabochons.”  Mostly, it was a frock-fest, though Rowley offered a few great striped coats, kooky-cute short outfits and a fluttery “fog-tiered skirt” paired with a button-laden top … smashing.

Though the show wasn’t a bit painful, special-edition Cynthia Rowley Band-Aids, featuring fun prints, graced every seat.  Alan Cummings wore one a couple, though he said  he did it for effect  – just for Cynthia – and he did “not have a boo-boo.”
