Designer Ramy Brook presents summer collection at SoulCycle

Designer Ramy Brook showed off her summer collection at SoulCycle in Bridgehampton Thursday to celebrate the launch of the store's summer shopping series.

An exclusive selection of Brook's Summer 2012 beach cover-ups, colorful dresses and simply sexy tanks were on display along with SoulCycle's own designs.

Brook said she was inspired to create a clothing line that would prove to be perfect for summer Hamptons living.

“I wanted to do something colorful, bright, and bold, that was sexy, wearable, and timeless,” she said. “From the beach to going out to dinner at night, these are the perfect tops and dresses. Just add jewelry and you're good to go.”

The Ramy Brook Summer 2012 collection will also be available at this year's UJA Hampton's Trunk Show this Thursday, where Brook is host. The show is a charitable event where more than 70 vendors will be selling their clothing lines and accessories. Twenty percent of all proceeds from the event will benefit the UJA Federation of New York to assist in providing food and shelter for the homeless and those in need.

The UJA Trunk Show will take place at the Bridgehampton Historical Society at 2368 Montauk Hwy. in Bridgehampton from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

VIP shopping is from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. VIP tickets are $54 and include all-day access, and general admission tickets are $36. Tickets can be purchased at ujafedny.org or at the door.

“At the end of the day, the money raised at the UJA Hamptons Trunk Show makes a difference in peoples lives,” says Brook. “It's an amazing event filled with wonderful people ready to donate, shop, hear great music, and eat to their hearts' content.”
