Fashion remembers 9-11

Designers at Mercedes-Benz Fashion week acknowledged the Sept. 11 observances in a variety of ways.
Victoria Beckham called for two separate moments of silence at the times planes crashed in New York and Pennsylvania. At DKNY, a statement about remembrance was placed on each seat and the company made a donation to a related charity, as did Derek Lam and Tracy Reese.
But it was Diane von Furstenberg who drew cheers and applause from the audience during her finale walk to the song “Feeling Good,” when she waved a small American flag and handed some out to front-rowers.
