Gwen Stefani’s wild L.A.M.B.

Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. line rocked the tents with its plethora of looks. There were tribal print halters, a suit with pants bearing oversized pleats, off-the-shoulder peasant tops, drapey dresses tied in a knot at the hem, or slashed and baring glimpses of skin in back.

We liked the long chiffony gown with cat’s cradle back — and even though harem pants seem destined to be a short-lived trend (because they’re pretty much hideous on most everyone), hers in menswear fabrics weren’t half bad. If only she’d edit some — the line explodes in all directions. Eclectic and a little hodgepodge is swell; random and unfocused is another.
