Homebodies, rejoice. Haven Well Within, the 5-year-old company, opened its first brick-and-mortar store this fall at Roosevelt Field in Uniondale. The brand strives to help women create a haven at home to unwind, recharge and nurture themselves with a focus on well-being.
This is underscored by the restful "Japandi" esthetics (a blend of Japanese and Scandinavian design) in the 1,774-square-foot space that features earthy natural cherrywood finishes, soft white walls accented with muted green tones and stunning sculptural mesh brass pendants that cast an inviting and tranquil glow.

Geared toward off-duty style, the mindfully curated inventory includes loungewear, sleepwear, intimates and snugly everyday wardrobe staples all consciously crafted from sustainable fabrics such as cashmere, silk, linen and cotton. Add to the mix accessories, beauty and home goods for a one-stop shop. The brand’s mantra: "A daily dose of good for you," is fitting.
And feel good you will in the store’s organic cotton tees ($48), cozy Sherpa slippers ($148) and an extensive collection of undergarments such as second-skin bras ($29-$68), comfortable washable silk pajamas (starting at $168) and, for a major ahhhh, luxurious cashmere lounge sets (separates sell from $158-$288).
For holiday and year-round gifting, find items to spoil yourself or a favorite person: calming candles and home fragrances starting at $44; toasty cashmere striped socks ($49); a fun, fuzzy faux fur eye mask ($34), beauty items such as poppy & pout X Haven Well Within Lip balm ($10) and elegant costume jewelry (starting at $40). There are home goods such as an heirloom quality handcrafted salad bowl set from Casa Zuma ($128) and even something special for your best furry friend (that would be your pet) including toys, grooming goods, sweaters and of course, the must-have faux fur pet blanket ($98).
Despite years as an online-only entity, the brand has caught the attention of some high-profile types. It’s been included on Oprah’s Favorite Things list and spotted on celebs including actors Hilary Swank and Molly Sims. Food Network star and cookbook author Katie Lee Biegel, who has a home in Southampton, is a fan and hosted the store’s grand opening.
