Jenny Packham: For royals, celebrities and maybe you

Brit designer Jenny Packham’s blinged out frocks and gowns speak volumes. But the designer is mum about one subject: the Duchess of Cambridge. Yup, that would be Kate Middleton who’s worn Packham more than once, and whose sister, Pippa, and mother, Carole (she wore a Packham to the Royal Wedding) are big fans. And there are other big names – Taylor Swift, Beyonce and Keira Knightly among them – who swear by Packham’s uber-femme sparklers.
There was plenty for all at the designer's early morning runway show on Monday, where she sent out a series of sassy, crystal-beaded short dresses and formal gowns in mostly neutral colors with a touch of baby blue and pink and a few dramatic hits of red. Lengths varied from cute little mini shifts to serious floor sweepers, some with draped bodices, many with crystal embellishments and a few with pointed studs.
Within the mix, yes, a few looks perfect for fair Kate. Watch and see.
