Busy woman, Jennifer Lopez.
Out and about promoting her new album, still basking in the glow of the People magazine “most beautiful woman” title, winning new fans every week on “American Idol,” the sometime Long Island resident has managed to find time to get back into the fashion business. (She shuttered her Sweetface label in 2009.)
This time she’s joining the lineup at Kohl’s, where she and husband Marc Anthony will launch a complete line--men’s and women’s clothing along with things for the home--this coming fall.
At a recent preview for magazine editors, Lopez said the women’s clothes have an “old Hollywood, movie star” vibe. Of the men’s line, Anthony said, “I’ve done all the work for the guys. It’s almost like being styled.”
“I think people will be really spoiled by this collection,” said Marie Claire’s Nina Garcia. And InStyle’s Ariel Foxman predicted people will have a tough time figuring out “what not to buy” from the line. “Our reader’s gonna go insane.”
