Kanye West rocks the tents

The famously media-averse rapper Kanye West turned up at Tory Burch’s 9 a.m. (early, right?) presentation at Lincoln Center, looking sharp in a fuchsia Phillip Lim jacket with a silky black corsage, white T-shirt, jeans . . .  and we noticed, a gold and diamond grill on his lower teeth.

West, more than happy to talk about Burch’s runway, extolled the collection. “I love it. It’s (bleep)in’ amazing,” he said. “ It’s my favorite one yet. She makes true luxury a bit more accessible.”

Spoken like a true fashionista.

Speaking of which, there was that intense fashion moment when West met Vogue’s Anna Wintour during the show. The room literally shook with the photographer stampede. A seismic fashion happening.
