We love it when Long Island serves as inspiration for a fashion line, as was the case at Porter Grey’s presentation, where design team/sisters Kristen and Alexandra O’Neill based their charming collection on the garden parties held annually at their grandparents' home in Oyster Bay Cove (the tradition began in 1950). To that end, cuffed shorts featured azalea, peony and bluebell flowers. Gorgeously tailored frocks that could amble in a garden or work in the city came in soft shades of butter, hydrangea and oyster. A touch of bling on a top and a skirt added a bit of glam to the already-smart collection.
