Lori Loughlin may look like a born-and-bred Californian these days,
with her sun-drenched hair and perfect TV smile, but she hasn’t
forgotten her Long Island roots.

Every summer, the Hauppauge native  brings her girls, Isabella, 12, and Olivia, 11, back home to see  Grandma and the home where Loughlin grew up.  “I want them to feel like New York is a part of their lives,” she said.  Loughlin herself  is still “passionate” about the East, but figures she’s in L.A. for  good — she  married a Californian.

And who wouldn’t stay when you keep  getting cast (most recently in the CW’s “90210”)? Loughlin, attending Pamella Roland’s spring presentation at the Whitney Museum Tuesday,  said she didn’t have time to get home this trip, so Mom was meeting  her.  Well . . . where was she?

Didn’t you bring her to Fashion Week?  “Oh,  sure, I asked,” Loughlin said, “but she just said, ‘No, nooo, that’s  OK.’ ”  Loughlin shrugged.  “It’s not really her thing.”
