Jacobs offered up a runway show in the round — with the audience seated around a large tower. Suddenly, we hear the dramatic strings of Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons” — the stormy third movement of “Summer” — and models burst out of the tower’s narrow openings, circle the perimeter, then return whence they came.

The looks — all ‘70s-inspired — varied from a shiny pink Lauren Hutton suit to clingy, glistening knits, from Gina Lollobrigida’s off-the-shoulder top and peasant skirt to a mushroom-shaped purple strapless with sleeves ballooning at the elbows. Warm tones (blush, berry, mustard) and dramatic details (massive belts, floppy hats, feather chokers) completed the look.
