They’re trading in bull's-eyes for zigzags at Target starting Tuesday, Sept. 13. That’s when the chain launches it’s latest -- and biggest -- designer collaboration, some 400 pieces created by the Italian house of Missoni.
If you love the colors and patterns that Missoni’s known for, you’ll be in heaven. There’s clothing and accessories for everyone in the family. Well, now that I think of it, I didn’t see anything for the dog.
And it’s not just wearables. There’s a heavy dose of home decor, as well. Most everything’s less than $40,although there are some pricier options, like the four-piece patio sofa for $599.99. It’s available only at target.com, as are a number of pieces in the line.
When editors were invited to preview the line a few months ago, I put a couple things on my “wish list” - some great luggage, the rainboots, a really pretty cocktail shaker. And, yes, a sweater, or two, would be nice, and maybe one of the very classy ties for my guy. Oh, and the kids stuff is universally adorable and will probably go faster than anything.
Speaking of which, as with all the Target designer stuff, once this stuff is gone, it’s gone. Don’t dawdle.
