Feeling left out of the New York Fashion Week hype?
When the tents are all packed up and the pros have gone home, it's your turn.
Strut over to Roosevelt Field mall in Garden City on Sept. 17 at 12 p.m. for your chance to walk the runway in front of a panel of judges and win the chance to be a model for a day.
One male and one female will receive a package that includes professional hair and makeup and a fitting from one of the mall retailers.
They will then walk in a runway show on Oct. 14 in their new look, in addition to scoring four VIP passes to a private reception before the show.
The event is sponsored by Simon Fashion Now and Winthrop-University Hospital. Will you give it a shot? Just don't forget about us when you're famous.
