Nanette Lepore's hot toddy

You could almost smell the mulled cider at Lepore's show, where she offered a cavalcade of must-haves in spicy, hot toddy shades: crimson, copper, cinnamon, currant.
Small details prove these clothes didn't luck out at being pretty by virtue of cheery shades and prints. A crimson tweed dress is delicately hitched and gathered on the hip; contrasts in texture (a vest with nubby wool front, quilted silk back) delight the eye.
There are coats galore - how to choose? - and a fun cargo dress. It's strapless, worn over a sweater, with patch pockets on the sides.
Flirty and functional.
