New store offers boutique style for less

When's the last time you walked into a store, glanced at a price tag on a shirt you love and gasped -- in a good way?
With the latest trends on display from bright watches, lacy tanks and rompers to high-waisted shorts, blazers and Oxford shoes, Ruby and Jenna in Plainview creates the illusion of being a boutique.
The only thing giving away its secret? Prices range from about $15 to $55.
Pooling their backgrounds in fashion and retail, Ruby Azrak and Jenna Lubel opened the original Ruby and Jenna in Brooklyn just a few months ago. The second location opened June 30 in the Plainview Shopping Center, not far from Lubel's hometown of Roslyn.
Everything in the store will be 10 percent off at least through next week to celebrate the grand opening, and new styles arrive daily.
