Nick Cannon is a softy and a clotheshorse

Good guy Nick Cannon, host of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” sat front row at Richard Chai’s show at the tents at Lincoln Center first day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and admitted to being strongly moved by some of the contestants on the show.
"It was heartbreaking," said Cannon of a little girl from dance ensemble "The Untouchables," who wept after her performance. "I went home and voted for her myself.”
As for Chai’s runway? Cannon, who was donning the designer’s duds, thinks he's got talent. “It was amazing, so cool and awesome,”he said. He plans to sport some Chai on the show, too. “I always try to make a statement with whatever I wear.”
