Rebecca Taylor's shimmery spring

You can count on Rebecca Taylor’s fabrics to have a shimmery, ethereal quality, as if you spotted her work from underwater—or bathed in moonlight. Her dresses are pieced together in a modern patchwork fashion, with sheer panels, cutouts, swirls of sequins and fluttery asymmetric hems.

Standout looks this season include a limeade eyelet cropped shell atop metallic pieced shorts with a print of mini wild roses; a cropped tank with mega paillettes (in a “nude” or terracotta shade) paired with a floral print handkerchief dress; and a shiny, hooded, denim blue anorak.

It all seemed to work, especially when worn with Taylor’s sexy, strappy metallic stilettos and these awesome ankle-straps with a leopard heel.

The gaggle of young Hollywood hotties sitting front row—including Ashley Tisdale, Jordana Brewster, Louise Roe, Whitney Port and Sophia Bush—all seemed to approve.
