Rent The Runway hits the Hamptons with summer freebies

Rent The Runway is giving SPF a whole new meaning in the Hamptons this summer.

The online designer rental boutique will give "Summer's Perfect Finds" totes to more than 1,800 passengers aboard the Hampton Jitney, a bus line that travels between Manhattan and eastern Long Island.

The bags will be filled with stylish beach getaway essentials such as makeup from Lancôme, perfume by Oscar de la Renta, BlowPro Beach Blow texturizing mist, VitaCoco coconut water, Pirates Booty snacks and a $50 gift card toward a dress on RentTheRunway.com.

Not familiar with what Rent The Runway has to offer? That $50 can get you a metallic Tibi minidress (retail $398), a lace sheath by Nanette Lepore (retail $348), a floral frock from Lilly Pulitzer (retail $188) or plenty of other designer choices for four days.

Rent The Runway will also hand out gift cards and giveaways throughout the Hamptons. If you spot a RTR van, tweet a photo of the van to @RentTheRunway and you'll be entered to win a free dress rental. The white vans are tough to miss with photos of designer dress-clad ladies on the sides.

Staying overnight? Guests at the Capri Hotel in Southampton will receive a $50 RTR gift card upon arrival.
