It's the clash of cultures—the rarefied and the rowdy—the refined and the rock-and-roll—that gives this line an almost titillating appeal. Imagine: a luxe trumpet gown paired with a crocodile brocade … motorcycle vest. Or an ostrich feather and marabou … hoodie. The heavy beading can be tough to move in—one model came to a screeching halt when a stiletto got caught in her hem. But we’ll forget that after seeing the sheath dresses made of round compact-size mirrors. They reflected the light and color around them, and somehow clung to the body, soft as fabric.
