Ruffian's heroic women

Heroic women served as inspiration for this well-edited collection designed by Brian Wolk and Claude Morais, and it was easy to envision political types (or wives of) wearing any number of looks, though it all read, well, a tad, shall we say, mature?

There were military-inspired, tailored-to-a-T jackets, diplomat -ready knee-length skirts (loved the dusted-gold suede job paired with a cobalt satin top).and a few ethereal leopard numbers – these beautifully draped  –  that, while not exactly youthful, were verrrry sexy.  Maybe for cougars? Meow.
