Shoes, handbags a hit at Tory Burch sample sale

Manhattan's deal-seeking fashionistas spent hours in line with handbags on their minds outside the Tory Burch sample sale Tuesday morning. Not even rain could keep these dedicated ladies from designer discounts.
Inside, shoppers are first drawn to a wall filled with purses and totes ranging in price from $195 to $325.
Sequin tanks and colorful summer tops compete for attention with silk patterned blouses for $95.
For those already looking ahead to fall, coats are a steal at $195. A light green army jacket would have been perfect for the day's summer showers.
Bold blazers and preppy cardigans round out Burch's classic style.
Looking for shoes? You'll have to take a number. Shoppers get tickets at the door and they must wait to be called before they can access the separate shoe corner, where chic flats, sandals and wedges await.
The sale, located at 261 W. 36th St., ends Saturday at 4 p.m.
