Tahari: Fun stuff for real working women (well, mostly)

Lots of wearable, chic, smart clothes from this major resource for real women, (you know, the types that simply can’t wear feathers to work), this collection boasted clean, fitted lines, and luxe fabrics such as leather, soft raffia and jacquard.

There was plenty of khaki and white, freshened up with pops of soft, gold metallic. Loved the slim jackets, easy cotton silk sweaters and crisp shirtdress, but to keep it from being too middle-of-the-road, Tahari did not shy from novelty items. A gold bustier (OK, not so work-worthy), a fringy suede vest (hullo hippie) and a leather bodysuit (yup), kept it interesting  . . . and fun.
