Does your pooch have what it takes to be the next canine top model?
Find out Saturday at Saks Fifth Avenue at the Walt Whitman Shops in Huntington Station, where Hampton Models will be scouting Long Island's most fashionable dog from noon to 4 p.m.
Owners will have the chance to get mini-makeovers and then pose for photos with their four-legged friends, and they can also enter to win a deluxe doggy bag.
A portion of the event proceeds will benefit Forgotten Friends of Long Island, a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats who have spent extended periods of time in shelters.
While supplies last, shoppers will receive a polka-dot straw beach tote with any $85 fragrance or cosmetics purchase and $50 off any sunglasses purchase of $250 or more with a beauty purchase.
