On her pool blue runway, designer Tory Burch held a garden party of sorts in the David Koch Theatre at Lincoln Center inspired by the French Rivera in late 1960s and Romy Schneider’s character in “La Piscine.”

Botanical and Queen Anne’s lace embroidery and prints in fresh shades of coral and apple green mixed with crisp, white lattice cutouts, some in leather.

A humble burlap linen coat with three-quarter sleeves was elevated with sparkling rhinestone cuffs -- a standout. Frocks were beyond cute -- short trapeze numbers (such a fab throwback), a close to the body crochet and silk combo and a romantic floral maxi.

And a behind the scenes note: The models carried lovely lattice pocketbooks filled with springy floral arrangements. These were assemble by Burch, herself, preshow, in the mensroom!
