Vampire Edward Cullen said it best: "What's a wedding without some drama?"

No kidding, dude. Last weekend's record-breaking opening for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" was due in part to moviegoers' fervid anticipation about seeing his mortal bride, Bella Swan, in her bridal gown, designed by Carolina Herrera and produced with as much hush-hush security as Kate Middleton's royal number.

And now you can wear it, too.

Or, at least, a more affordable, officially licensed facsimile.

The "Twilight Bridal by Alfred Angelo" wedding dress hit stores this week across the United States. Retailing for $799, the liquid satin sheath features a wide V-neck in front, cutout illusion panel trimmed with Chantilly-inspired lace appliqué in back, plus lace-trimmed long sleeves, fabric-covered buttons and a chapel train.

During shooting, "I was on full lockdown, as if I was wearing millions of dollars' worth of diamonds,' " Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella, says in the November issue of Glamour magazine. "But it was just a dress," she says.

J-J-Just a dress?

Producers swore all involved to secrecy, from the stars to Herrera to the staff at Alfred Angelo, where only about four people were privy to the replica's design. The company confirmed they used code names to refer to the dress, and shipped it secretly to stores.

Alas, Long Islanders looking to try one on may have to fill up the gas tank.

No boutiques on the Island carry it, though it's available in New York State at Alfred Angelo Bridal shops outside Syracuse and Rochester -- or closer to home, at MeMe's Enterprises in Larchmont or K's Wedding Center in Middletown.
