Vera Wang for David's Bridal

Many a bride dreams of a Vera Wang wedding gown--and soon, a lot more of them will be able to afford one. 

The designer has signed on with David’s Bridal to create a collection of gowns (nothing over $1,500) and accessories.

You’ll need to be patient  -- the line doesn’t debut until  spring 2011 and is to be followed by dresses for bridesmaids and shoes.

“I hope to speak with a level of taste and authority that will resonate with brides everywhere,” says Wang.
