Get ready to wait on a long line for clothes from H&M’s latest designer collaboration. It’s true – it’s Versace.

The new collection, designed by creative director Donatella Versace, will include lines for both women and men, and selected pieces for the home and will recall the heritage of the brand. Included in the mix: leather, prints, color and reinterpretations of Versace designs at H&M prices. (If you didn't know it, that would be much lower than traditional Versace, where the price tags can be astronomical!)

For women, loads of dresses, studded leather, colorful prints and accessories including sexy high heels and costume jewelry.

For men, sharp tailoring including – wow – a tuxedo, as well as belts and jewelry.

In a statement, Versace said, “The collection will be quintessential Versace, perfect for H&M and Versace fans everywhere.”

Judging from previous H&M couture designer collaborations, Versace is likely to be a wild success. Goods from other designers such as  Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Roberto Cavalli and Jimmy Choo are highly coveted and seriously collected.

Don't race out just yet to get in line however. The collection will hit about 300 H&M stores in November 2011 (just in time for  the holidays) with a pre-spring collection to follow in January.

The famously platinum-haired 56-year-old designer actually wore one of the dresses from this collection at the house’s men’s show in Milan on June 20. She looked darn good in it, too!
