Alexander Wang went (almost all) white for spring, sending models out
in a variety of loose, full-cut looks — a long, layered painter’s smock
dress; long, draped apron dresses with criss-cross straps in back; long,
crepe pajama shorts; and long, canvas shorts with longer leggings
peeking out from underneath.  Did we mention?  Hems are long.
Seriously.  Mid-calf.  A major adjustment for spring.  (Even the
shorts.) But our hands-down favorite was that chalk-white organza — Wang
scribbled on it,  creating sheer tops, dresses and a great cropped
carpenter jacket that floated down the runway.  Cheery chic.
