What with the likes of Lady Gaga, Beyoncé and Rihanna dancing around in corset-like costumes and so many celebs swearing by their Spanx, you could definitely say shapewear has arrived. Here are two new lines on the market.
SLIM
The new SLIM collection by Cynthia Rowley is a lot cuter than just plain shapewear. Pieces such as bras, slip dresses and high-waisted bikinis are big on technical details that shape you, yet they never lose their style. The collection is priced from $118 to $226. Sizes range from S to XL, 32B-38D. The collection will be available at the new Cynthia Rowley store, 696 Montauk Hwy. in Montauk, and online, at
cynthiarowley.com.

Leonisa
Compression garments from Leonisa promise to do more than just suck it in. The line is promoted as liposuction without the surgery - the company says if you wear the pieces regularly, you'll feel a toning and tightening. There are one-piece allover shapers (pictured, $74.99), as well as tummy toners, bras, camisoles and more. Check them all out atwww.leonisa.com.
