Win free stuff for college from Target
Target is hosting a scholarship contest for college students arriving for the first time or returning in the fall.
Students have 16 scholarships to choose from, including an Angry Birds scholarship, offering a Nook tablet preloaded with the game “because some lectures are boring and some pigs need to be taught a lesson.”
Other scholarships include a year’s supply of Red Bull, an Xbox and a full dorm furniture set, a grill, a microwave, a Magic Bullet blender, a year’s supply of makeup, a laptop (including Logitech speakers, a wireless mouse, webcam and a lap desk) and, of course, a year’s supply of Ramen noodles.
To apply, visit targetstuffscholarships.com and choose the scholarship that interests you. Then take a webcam interview with the Target panel and have your friends vote on your video via Facebook, Twitter or other social media sites.
The next submission periods end August 22 and September 12, and 48 total scholarships will be awarded.
To be eligible to win, you must be 16 or older at the time of entry and a full-time student at an accredited four-year or two-year college. NCAA student athletes are not eligible to enter.
