You're Invited: A trunk show and fundraiser

Ten  percent of the show and boutique sales during the event will go to the Ellen Hermanson Foundation, which supports research on breast cancer and funds education and counseling for its victims.

Hermanson died in 1995 at age  42 after a vigorous battle with breast  cancer. It was diagnosed in 1989 while she was nursing her daugther.

During her battle, Hermanson became and activist and advocate, joining  the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship and helping  found the Jewish Healing Center. The foundation was established to continue her work.
