Green Wizard coneflowers, as seen in the new Park Seed catalog

Park Seed catalog arrived yesterday.

My standout favorite?

The Rudbeckia 'Green Wizard' on page 61: "A relative of the Gloriosa Daisy in which the yellow or orange ray florets are replaced by green seqals that emphasize the large, beautiful black cones. 3-5 inches across, these cones are lovely fresh or dried. Likes well-drained soil."

This past year or so, I've developed a liking for green flowers, and these are especially unusual. They look, well, happy, if that makes sense.

I haven't bought them yet, but the page is folded down for quick reference later.
